There are plenty of things for kids of all ages and stages of life to keep them busy and fill their summer with fun!

Sixth Grade Camp

Sixth Grade Camp

This camp is located in Marshall, Texas, and is for students who just completed the 6th grade. With group sessions, worship, and high-energy group-building activities, the purpose behind this camp is for students to establish  a stronger bond with their group as well as a deeper relationship with Christ. This camp is June 3-7 and cost for each student is $300. The deadline for payment and registration is Sunday, May 26, so sign up today! 

Open Play at The Fields

Open Play at The Fields

Join us this summer for Open Play at The Fields! Bring a friend for pick-up games of Men's Soccer, Coed Ultimate Frisbee, and Men's Indoor Basketball. Men's Soccer will be played weekly on Mondays, Coed Ultimate Frisbee on Tuesdays, and Men's Indoor Basketball on Thursdays. Open Play is free for adults 18 and up. No sign-up is required. Participants must complete a liability waiver before participation and provide picture ID upon arrival.  
 
Open Play begins the week of June 10.

Preschool Fun in the Son

Preschoolers and their parents are invited to come out and enjoy water fun at The Fields on Wednesdays this summer, starting June 5. Be sure to bring your sunscreen, a towel, and a snack. It’s a great opportunity to get out of the house, cool off, and enjoy time with other children and parents. We will not meet on June 26 and July 3.

Are you looking for a great way to meet new people, expand your imagination and share new experiences? Then the Women’s Summer Book Club is for you! We will meet once a month during the summer from 11:30 to 1:30 at Church at the Fields. Join us as we get together to discuss the ideas and issues contained in three wonderful books this summer.

August 7 “Isaiah's Daughter” by Mesu Andrews  
 
Bring your book and a dish to share as we build friendships over lunch and a good read. Free childcare is provided. Register in advance for Women’s Summer Book Club and for free childcare.

Children's Summer Camp

Children's Summer Camp

Children who have completed 3rd-5th grade are invited to register for summer camp at Mt. Lebanon, June 10-14. This provides an excellent opportunity for children to experience their first overnight camp close to home. Many fun activities are offered, including a challenge course, zip tower, alpine tower, swimming, hiking, and organized games. The cost is $200 with a $75 deposit due at registration. Register by April 15 to receive a $10 discount. Registration ends May 12. 

Coed Sand Volleyball League

Coed Sand Volleyball League

Registration is now open for our Coed Sand Volleyball league at The Fields. This league is for anyone age 16+. Each team must have five players with at least two women and two men. The cost is $20 per person. The league will play games on Monday nights. The season starts on Monday, June 10. Please register by June 9.

Forerunners Day Trip

Forerunners Day Trip

All Forerunners (ages 55+) are invited to attend a day trip on Thursday, June 13, to Ham Orchards in Terrell, TX. There is no cost for the trip, but bring money for IHOP, BBQ, and maybe some peaches and ice cream. We will meet in the North Parking Lot at 8:45 am, eat a late breakfast at IHOP, then head to Ham Orchards. We will arrive back by 4 pm. Register by Sunday, June 9. 

Student Summer Camp

Student Summer Camp

Students in 7th-12th grade are invited to join us June 17-22 for our Summer Student Camp. We will be returning to Bear Trap Ranch in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and take a week to enjoy time in the secluded mountains. The theme for this year is New Beginnings: Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here! (2 Corinthians 5:17) 
 
If you register between February 24 and April 28, the cost is $350. If you register after that, the cost is $400. Last day to register is June 3.

Throw on your camera strap and buckle your seatbelt. VBS 2019 takes you on a wild adventure—with elephants and egrets, polar bears and penguins, cockatoos and crocodiles. As you seek out exotic animals, you’ll also find snapshots of real-life encounters with Jesus in Scripture. Kids go from bewildered to believing as they get In The Wild at this summer’s VBS, June 24-28, 9 am-12 pm. 

 For children who have competed Kindergarten-5th grade. This event is free, but children must be registered.

One Voice Mission Tour

One Voice Mission Tour

One Voice Middle School Choir will be headed to Austin to serve this summer on their mission trip, June 28-July 1. They will be singing concerts and serving the local community and church plants. The cost is $150 and includes lodging, food, transportation, and a t-shirt. Register by April 28. Contact the Worship Arts office with any questions, at worshiparts@fbcc.org

Boys Mission Camp

Boys who have completed 1st through 5th grade are invited to sign up for summer mission camp at Mt. Lebanon, July 29-August 1. The cost is $185. It’s a week full of adventure, fun, and learning more about who God is. Register today!

We offer various sports camps over the summer, including Flag Football, Cheer, Dodgeball/Kickball, Basketball, and All-Star Sports Camp. Camps will take place at The Fields, Monday-Thursday.
